Lauren Leah Mitchell
Passed away on November 09, 2023
Lauren Leah Mitchell, 70, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2023, at her home with her family by her side. The native and lifelong resident of Savannah was a retired Occupational/Physical Therapist at Memorial Health. Having graduated from Johnson High School she continued her education at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. She retired fully after her diagnosis of ovarian cancer in 2020. She was a communicant of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
Lauren is survived by her brother, Richard Owen Mitchell (Barbara) of Savannah, two nieces, Madison Alexandra Mitchell of Savannah, and Amy Mitchell Harvey of Midway, one nephew, James Andrew Mitchell (Carrie) of Savannah, several great-nieces and nephews, and cousins.
A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., in Greenwich Cemetery.
Remembrances may be made to Hospice Savannah.
I’ll miss my friend Lauren forever. She had a big heart, a beautiful soul and a hilarious sense of humor. Rest in peace sweetie!

Lauren was a wonderful person. She was very popular at Savannah High School in the late 1960's. She was smart and very talented. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know her. I offer my most sincere condolences to her family.
